It was so great to see many of you in the custom app for the Holiday Party beta test.
It was delightful to be in the custom app with the emoji cannon again, bugs and crashes and all!
We’ll be hosting the next event also in the custom app!
Our first meeting for 2023 will be a change in our normal programming. This time, it’s gonna be on a Saturday, & it’s gonna be a little meta…
For, you see, the staff will be in the middle of attending an XR hackathon. And… we are going to be sharing the event on a large TV at the crowded hackathon.

How it will work:
During the hackathon, participants will have the opportunity to interact with you as they pass by the TV. While the specifics are still being determined, one possibility is for them to use a VR headset located at the same table as the TV to drop in and connect with you. Alternatively, we may be able to set up a webcam to broadcast them to VR, the Spatial Ape world. Regardless of the specific approach, we are excited to offer this immersive experience, and we can't wait to see you there!

Boston VR has welcomed us to join them for a Zoom call/ presentation, “XR-Creator Zoom-Check-In: Anyone participating in the MIT Reality Hack?”. Feel free to sign-up and join the presentation/ round-table discussion. Casey Armstrong, who is helping us out at Spatial Ape, is the main presenter/organizer for the Zoom event and would be happy to see you!
