Hello again, Daniel here... hope the Americans had a lovely Thanksgiving, I sure did! It was great to show VR to some family members for the first time, the way they light up reminds me why I got into the space in the first place.

As you can see in the details above, Spatial Ape is meeting up this Thursday in a version of our old stomping grounds ported into Altspace.

(Rest assured, Altspace is temporary; in the background, we are working diligently to get the original app up and running! On that, we need beta testers! Reach out on Discord if interested.)

👋 News Ignoring the never ending hit-pieces on Meta’s metaverse endeavors, we found this article from UploadVR a bit more interesting, a reminder that most of Meta’s efforts, 50% of their funding, in fact, are actually put into the development of AR glasses behind the scenes.

🏢 Events The I/ITSEC 2022 is an event taking place in Orland, FL, this week that you should explore. Their tagline is “Accelerate change by transforming training”, and their focus is modeling, simulation, and training. Their key audience is the Air Force, Army, Navy, and Industry. However, anyone interested in the future of the XR industry should take note since the government is a large funder of the XR industry and will shape its future.

​Immerse Global Summit from VRARA is next week. CyberHub Syndicate - the new parent company of Spatial Ape - will be exhibiting, and yours truly has a speaking slot. If you’re in Miami, send me a note. I would love to connect.
